Through extensive browsing and research I’ve come up with a list of the 5 best tablets of 2015. While this is strictly speaking opinion, it also suggests the performance bar for 2016 as specs and features are the highest priorities.
Sony’s Xperia Z4 Tablet: Not to be confused with the Z2 the Z4 boasts 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot that can store up to an additional 128 GB.
Google Nexus 7 Tablet: Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes standard, packed with Google features and awesome hardware for the price. 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and either 16 or 32 Gb Harddrive.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3: 1.7 GHz quadcore, Windows 10, 2160 x 1440 resolution, and for 600 bucks it’s comparable to the Z4 in many respects including price. What it may lack in some areas it makes up for in being more like a laptop than several of the leading tablet hybrids behaviorally.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S: The ultimate Ipad Killer, it’s specs feature a combative 2.3 GHz quadcore and it’s 2560 x 1600 resolution is stunning. (As is the tiny pricetag $273.00)
Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 ($400.00)
I’m not surprised to find myself listing two Samsungs on this list. They really do make outstanding products and the Note Pro 12.2 is the best example of that around.
